At PSG responsibilities included plant operation and managing the Consulting Services Division. One plant operation assignment involved the management of Los Angeles' Hyperion 400-million gallon per day (MGD) facility. The consulting services division provided O&M advisory services to municipalities. Their major focus was providing a complete menu of O&M services for the Boston Harbor Clean Up Program. At the Philadelphia Water Department-Water Pollution Control Division, responsibilities included division management. The division had three large wastewater plants, a 3,000-mile sewer network, sludge management, industrial waste control and 500 employees. The budget was $50 million.
