Served as member of three Water Environment Research Foundation Project Subcommittees, overseeing biosolids related studies. EXPERIENCE Mr. Pepperman is extremely knowledgeable about biosolids management practices throughout the country and the world because of nearly 20 years of experience in the biosolids processing and recycling field.At Garvey Resources, he provides information to biosolids facility designers regarding biosolids processing such as alkaline stabilization processes and heat drying. His expertise in biosolids product marketing is valuable to designers because this assures that the biosolids product has a value to end users. Mr. Pepperman is knowledgeable about a wide variety of biosolids operations across the country and the world, which is transferable to facilities and designers considering upgrades and expansions.At United Water, Mr. Pepperman served as a primary internal expert for all sludge, biosolids, and residuals management matters. He participates in new project and acquisition due diligences; internal due diligence efforts (audits); oversaw corporate-wide regulatory reporting for biosolids; and new business development related to biosolids product lines.At Environmental Group Services, Inc., Bob managed the residuals-focused consulting firm as the President/Co-founder. The company specialized in assisting engineering firms in evaluation of technologies; long-range residuals master plans; analysis of markets for biosolids-derived products and assessment of regulatory programs.At Enviro-Gro Technologies, Inc. Mr. Pepperman served as the Director of Professional Services. He managed a staff consisting of 10 professionals charged with locating and permitting sites for the land application of biosolids. Approximately 75,000 acres of agricultural land in Colorado was permitted for New York City. Annually, several hundred acres of strip mines were permitted for Philadelphia and Pittsburgh (ALCOSAN) contracts. In addition, he served as the companys agronomic expert and directed public outreach activities including regulatory meetings and hearings. The companys marketing program for biosolids derived products was also Mr. Peppermans responsibility. Under his supervision, the Product Marketing Group reached an annual sales level of about $1,000,000. |
